CBSE Class 10 Results 2017 | Region-wise All India

Much to the relief of eager and anxious students-parents combine, finally, after much wait and watch, CBSE has declared the result of Secondary School Examination (Class X) 2017 on 03rd June 2017 in phased manner. Following the last year practice, this year also the CBSE is hosting its result at website : www.cbseresults.nic.in with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India. The students can also access their results through websites - www.results.nic.in or www.results.nic.in which infact redirect to above mentioned website i.e. www.cbseresults.nic.in



CBSE Class 10th 2017 - School Wise Results

Just to avoid the website crashing due to heavy traffic of visitors, CBSE being cautious and taking no chance  ,  releasing its Class 10 Board or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination results in phased manner. Initially, till 3:30PM, results for areas covered under 5 Region Offices i.e. Allahabad,Chennai,Delhi,Dehradun and Trivandrum. Regions have been released. The results for rest of the ares covered under remaining 5 Region Offices will be declared  shortly after few hours.

Update : CBSE has declared  class 10th results for all regions.

CBSE Class 10th Results - High Points :

  • A total of 1659558 appeared in cbse class 10th exam in 2017, out of which  1509383 students were able to score  passing grades.
  • Trivandrum has highest pass percentage at 99.85
  • Overall pass percentage for CBSE Board Class 10 exams 2017 is 90.95%, which is over 5 percent low from last year 96.21 percent.
  • Delhi region with 78.09 pass percentage, saw a decline of 13.67 percentage  over last year
  • Around 16,67,573 students from more than  16,000  CBSE affiliated schools appeared in CBSE 10th Class board examinations in the year 2017
  • Last year, 14,96,066 students  appeared for the class 10 exam and the overall pass percentage was at 96.21 percent.
  • As per CBSE officials, the numbers of boys who scored  perfect 10 CGPA,  are more than girls this year.
  • Uttarakhand pass percentage has registerd a slight increase  from 96.45% of last year to 96.80% this year.
  • Pass percentage of areas under  Panchkula region i.e. Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and union territory (UT) Chandigarh region has registerd a  decrease of 3%  from 98.1% of last year to 94.34% this year.
