First we have to convert higer units into lower units i.e. from meters to cm.

The number of shirt which can be stiched out of 4000cm lingth of cloth= 4000 ÷ 215=18shirt +130cm remaing cloth (Qutient = 18, Remainder = 130)
Q10. Medicine is packed in boxes, each weighting 4 kg 500g. How many such boxes can be loaded in a van which cannot carry beyond 800 kg?

The weight of One medicine box = 4 kg 500 g =4 × 1000 + 500 g = 4500 g
Total load which can be loaded in the van = 800kg= 800 × 1000 gm = 800000g
The total number of medicine boxes which the van can carry = 800000 ÷ 4500 = 177.77 boxes = 177 boxes (approximately)
